I'm looking for hands-on care for my mother in her 80s. She has recently been referred to in-home Hospice care (Melanoma stage 4). Medication management is required. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. My mother is currently bedridden. One of your responsibilities will be working with Hospice team on bathing and changing under garments. Personal care required, she does feed herself but needs to be reminded to eat. Duties include providing some companionship and social interaction. My Dad is with her but is hard of hearing making social interaction sometimes difficult. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with pets and first-aid trained.
