About who needs care: She has had some reoccurring health situations that have had her in and out of the hospital. She is going to be getting physical therapy at home to help her be more mobile. She does use a walker and grab bars on the toilet seat and in the shower. We do have a hospital bed for her hospital tray. She may periodically be on oxygen if her oxygen level goes a little low, but normally she is not on it continuously. She is very nice but can be stubborn if she's just a hospital tray. She may periodically be on oxygen if her oxygen level goes a little low, but normally she is not on it continuously. She is very nice but can be stubborn if she's just not feeling great that day. She is starting on low level hospice care right now. My dad is in his late 80s and is a total sweetheart so finding somebody to come in to help him out a few times a week to take some of the burden off of him would be amazing. My mom likes to watch TV shows she enjoys coloring and knitting hats. My dad is an artist and is doing amazing for his age. About the care needs: somebody that is encouraging without being demanding for my mom. She is scared right now because she doesn't know what to expect with her health. But someone that can convince her to keep her circulation going by moving would be wonderful. If somebody could also assist with light housekeeping while they are here, they do have a washer and dryer in their apartment. They live in the new apartment building that just went up called Affinityin Bend. Its a beautiful apartment building. And has lots to offer so getting her out of her room and her wheelchair would make her smile so much. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
