About the job
About who needs care: My father is an eccentric alternative-health guru with cancer. He needs someone to be with him during the day, to help him walk, take his meds, prepare food, help clean up and organize after spills, support his alternative health treatments, and drive him to medical appointments. His mobility is limited as the tumors are pinching the nerves that control the left side of his body. He is a sweet intelligent man, but also gets frustrated at times, and we need someone with patience and compassion who doesn't take things personally. He just needs someone to be around and help. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
