About who needs care: My brother is 27 with schizophrenia. He needs somebody to stay with him from the 22nd-25th. Someone who is comfortable giving him his medication, feeding him, transporting him to and from his appointments. Somebody who is skilled in de-escalating his fear of being hurt and being equipped to deal with possible outburst. About the care needs: A calm, reinforcing personality would be a great fit. Preferably a male care taker. They need to be equipped to deal with a mental disorder and be able to handle the tasks that come with it. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
