About who needs care: My mom is paralyzed from the waste down due to a car accident. She is very independent but she needs some help with a few things. My grandma has been doing it by herself for two years now and cant do it 100% on her own. Its minor things like taking her out and about, helping her get ready for the day, helping her with her hair, making sure shes comfortable when shes out and about. It is only for a few hours a few days a week. I cant do this due to living 7 hours away and not being able to move closer to her. I would love to have a conference call with her and a caregiver to discuss options About the care needs: She loves just about anything as long as shes out and about she really needs to feel human again Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
