About who needs care: She gets around with a walker and likes to be independent however, her mind is starting to slip. She just needs someone to make sure she takes her medications correctly, doesn't leave the stove on, and sometimes she will need help out of the shower or help getting up from a low chair. She's always been very independent. She loves to tell stories, so a listening ear is great! About the care needs: Someone who doesn't talk very fast and can separate professional and personal business, so nothing stresses her out. She likes puzzles and was getting back into sewing before she was sent to assisted living. (We are trying to get her home) She forgets to eat, so someone who doesn't mind reminding her. She was a farmer's wife who learned to be self-efficient and very independent. Someone with an upbeat attitude, patience and a listener will be perfect. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
