About who needs care: My mom has dementia and what we (kids) are wanting is someone to come 1 day a week and vacuum limited area, check moms pill pack to see if she is taking her meds, put trash can out at curb, change sheets on her bed and see if litter box needs emptying. About the care needs: She gets easily bothered by people who talk constantly. No specialized skills necessary. Ask if she has eaten and encourage her to drink some water. She likes to only drink coffee and coke or Mountain Dew but the repeated use of these caffeinated beverages not only gives her urinary tract infections and trips to pee more frequent. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
