About who needs care: She has dementia, she will lash out sometimes, never physical but she definitely has a short temper. She has trouble taking her pills every day, she forgets things really easily. She has ADHD and when she starts on something she will forget it and move to another thing like cleaning a closet, then jumping to go rearrange the pantry. She thinks it is ok to manipulate other people to try and help, such as fake crying, lying, etc. She is an introvert, she will say she wants to go out, then once you are ready to leave, she'll start on another task again. About the care needs: Honestly, someone who listens but also is able to put their foot down. You don't need any specialized skills, just a good heart and PATIENCE. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
