My mom lives in assisted living after a stroke. Her needs and moods can vary greatly from day today. Sometimes she is funny and talkative, and sometimes she is sleepy or grouchy. This is a companionship situation with a lot of negotiating and visiting with someone who can be intermittently very sweet and or full of anxiety. It's just a mixed bag with a lovely lady who needs help eating dinner at 4:00 followed by going to bed early. There are assisted living techs on duty to help with bathroom and bed room duties. Compassion and a smile go a long way. currently we could use some companionship from about 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and 232 approximately 6 p.m. on Tuesday. If things go well and you get along well, we could use some help filling in other times occasionally. It takes a village and a little teamwork. Thanks!!
