About who needs care: My mom broke her pelvis but did not need surgery so she was discharged, she has other health issues (lungs and I suspect heart and kidneys too) that she refuses to accept, she is extremely weak and is basically refusing to let us help her to even stand up. Shes 86, hadn't seen a doctor in 61 years and said she never would under any circumstances so she has no insurance. Not even Medicaid. This would be self pay and she lives on social security. I am currently her caregiver and desperately need help. About the care needs: She needs someone that can firmly and carefully get her to do things (stand up) by making it her idea. Shes stubborn but very sweet. She has used homeopathic supplements for as long as I can remember and firmly believes they have kept her physically healthy until she fell. Her only real hobby is NBA basketball games and specifically Thunder. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
