Julie is an incredible woman who, despite her challenges, maintains a vibrant spirit and love for life. About Julie: - Suffers from Hydrocephalus, which causes vertigo and memory loss - Uses a wheelchair for mobility but can transfer with assistance - Enjoys conversation, playing Scrabble, and occasional outings for cheeseburgers! Care Responsibilities: 3 days a week (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) 1. Medication management 2. Personal hygiene assistance 3. Transportation to medical appointments 4. Grocery shopping 5. Companionship and engagement in activities About the care needs: Ideal Candidate: - Experienced in caring for individuals with mobility challenges - Patient and understanding, especially with memory-related issues - Enjoys conversation and game-playing - Reliable and trustworthy - Able to assist with transfers (chair to car, bathroom, etc.) While my sister and I live out of state, we are deeply involved in our mother's care and make frequent visits.
