Seeking Full-time Senior Care Provider In New Albany

About who needs care: 1. She had a stroke in August 2024 leaving her left side (dominant) immobile. She can move her left leg with assistance but requires help to transfer to/from wheelchair, toilet, and move from room to room. Her left shoulder and arm need to be worked out everyday through assisted movement but she cannot do it on her own. She also can use a one sided walker but requires a champion to walk with her, her her stand and balance as she moves. 2. She struggles to see clearly causing headaches so she does not have hobbies right now to conduct. We would like her to focus on exercises or word searches, etc. to help distract her from pain. We help her move her legs and arms daily with stretches. She also has a 20 minute light therapy session where she has to focus her eyes on a special handheld machine in a dark room from her eye doctor. She also has a robotic hand machine that has to be placed on her fingers and turned on to run that uses air pressure to fatter h her fingers and open her hand. Finally, she has a mini oxygen machine that she uses on the couch to run for an hour uses natural air in the room to help prevent headaches. 3. needs to get up in the morning and take medicine at specific times. She will need assistance moving to the couch and completing exercises after a nap. She will complete light therapy, then eat lunch with her medicine. After that, she will need to likely use the restroom with assistance and then continue exercises/resting. We would like the afternoon to have activities of some sort like word searches or memory activities. About the care needs: 1. Calming individual who is good with keeping focus as she is easily distracted and can get depressed with her situation. 2. Working with disabled individuals who need assistance with movements. 3. Nothing specific Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
