Occasional Weekend Or Vacation Help With Elder

Looking for part time, occasional weekend and vacation help with my mother she is mostly independent but needs help with meal prep and some personal care between showers that are provided by an aide twice a week, my adult children live in the home so they can balance out helping when they are not working My plans are flexible but I do have a scheduled vacation in December. If not able to find a person who can provide assistance for the whole time. Morning assistance to set up breakfast, check that she doesn't need assistance with clean up between shower, check that she is taking meds ( I set up pill planner) possibly do her laundry, pick up her room / make her bed ( her aide or housekeeper will usually do this, In the evening check to see if she needs personal care, meal set up, maybe dish out ice cream or give some other dessert , provide assistance as needed, she will get herself ready for bed and go to bed when ready, she sometimes needs help with her devices ( tablet or phone) sometimes just engage her in social conversation or watch a movie with her My adult children are available to help her at night and when they are home from work . So evening times are flexible Mom enjoys reading, and watching shows or playing games on her tablet. She will talk about her life and grandkids when asked questions, would love for her to have a caregiver/ companion that will engage her in conversation. Basic CPR , Caregiver should enjoy serving the elderly and professional work ethic . 1 Cat - I have a very old, short hair American tabby , she can be friendly but usually keeps to herself. Occasionally she will vomit but my adult children will clean up mess as long as you let them know.
