About who needs care: My mom has macular degeneration and mobility issues caused by degenerative spinal condition. She also has increasingly worsening memory issues. She's a former nurse who was health supervisor of the local school district -- a people person and generally upbeat despite her challenges. About the care needs: Outgoing -- my mom's a talker. She would love it if someone would read to her; also, cooking is a plus but not necessary. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
