I am in the process of getting her seen by a neurologist as she has never had seizures before. Needs very small bites of soft food and monitored . Loves music of many kinds especially country. Refuses to sleep in her bed. Sleeps sitting propped up on her love seat with a foot stool for her feet, Has degenerative disc and back issues so she does not like lying down. Likes to be able to see out the front door area as she worries about the weather, Does not like cold and snow, wants to see when someone comes into the house, is afraid of storms. About the care needs: Someone low key not bold, prefer female, patient, someone whom Irene can't manipulate into doing for her the things she can do herself. We are trying to help her gain her confidence back, become strong again, and be as mobile as possible as she has always walked on her own but with the falls we were seeing prior to the seizure type activity she is now frightened that she will fall and sometimes has the mindset that she can't stand up or that she can't walk. Services needed include: mobility assistance.
