About who needs care: Short term memory loss. Perhaps developing dementia. Was athletic with softball and golf until the age of 90. His days consist of trying to organize his finances and mail but to no avail. Spends a lot of time with junk mail. Does not throw most mail away and spends time studying his check book and statements. Ill try to get his driving privileges revoked. Would need help with groceries every week or two About the care needs: He can be difficult and confused. Thinks he doesn't need help and can do everything Need to be patient and perhaps persuasive. Hes lived alone for several years between Florida and Ohio. Sports and cards were part of his past but living alone with his memory loss keeps him confused. Working to get him into care at the veterans home but that could take 8 months Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
