About who needs care: Uses a walker. Has cognitive issues. Nancy was an elementary special education teacher for 21 years and a high school special education teacher for 10 years. Needs help with following through on her cognitive training, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. Currently receiving these services once a week. Nancy was a reading specialist so she loves young children and likes to teach. About the care needs: Nancy is very sensitive and has been through a lot both physically and mentally. Triple negative breast cancer, she has had brain surgery that was unsuccessful, and major vascular surgery on her left leg. She enjoys conversation with women. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
