I'm looking for care for my 96-year-old mom. Weekends (5-6 hour shifts like 10am-3 or 2pm-7 p.m. ) Backup help for weekdays 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Also Wednesday and Saturday nights from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. She had a stroke in Nov. 2023. Before that she was living independently in a retirement community. Her stroke impacted her ability to process information but did not affect her mobility or speech. She walks with a walker. We're looking for someone to provide companionship along with mobility assistance, toileting, giving her meds, light cooking and cleaning, dressing, bathing. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. Caregiver must be willing to be an independent contractor and fill out a 1099.
