Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In Columbus

About who needs care: Paralyzed wheelchair user currently recovering from shoulder replacement surgery and am unable to perform normal transfers and dressing without a lift at this time. I work full time from home and will be returning to work soon and so does my husband who has been providing all the help I need to perform ADLs while on FMLA. My Mom lives with us but shes not able to help with transfers/ADL help but shes a great cook! We have a big adorable mutt who does not bark that we need to have accepted/tolerated. We don't allow him to rule the house! We are a friendly group but need some help so I can have help getting bathed/bathroomed and dressed while I remain non-weight bearing on my shoulder and regain strength. This appears to take many months to a year for surgery done in late August 2024. Hope we can find that help here! A private suite is available if an individual is looking for accommodation- please ask. We would expect a quiet person for this who would not have guests. Thank you for your consideration if you have the necessary skills. About the care needs: We would appreciate a person with a good sense of humor and one respectful of our time. This person needs to be able to work in a home with a dog. I use a lift currently which my husband has been able to demonstrate to an aide who is leaving us soon (visa issue) - this is for bed to wheelchair/toilet/shower seat etc. After I am able to transfer without lift, I will need some assistance with these. I need assistance with dressing currently as well. I have been paralyzed since 1993. I know how I need helped and am able to train the right person but some experience is much appreciated. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
