Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother

Seeking long term hands-on care for my mother in her 80s who has recently had a sudden decline in cognitive function. She lives in an independent senior apartment community. We are looking for a caring and compassionate companion who enjoys puzzles, music, and can at times assist mom with participation in social activities in her building. Assistance with medication and toileting is needed. Standby assistance is needed as she uses a walker for mobility. Some housework including light cleaning and laundry is involved. We're looking for help in making grocery lists and preparing easy meals. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker with previous experience caring for seniors with memory issues. Caregiver should be comfortable assisting with a small non-shedding dog.
