Hands-on Care Needed For My Grandmother In Akron

About who needs care: Juanita has right sided weakness and difficulty with mobility from a progressive neurologic condition. Similar to stroke symptoms. She is of sound mind but has difficulty with speech. She needs assistance with bed-wheelchair-chair and chair-wheelchair-bathroom transfers. She is able to help some and is continent and can feed herself but needs meals prepared for her. She wakes around 8 a.m. and goes to the bathroom, then goes to her recliner and has coffee and breakfast (usually cereal) then gets washed up and dressed and bathroom again around 930-10, then returns to her recliner. Afternoon help would be assisting with bathroom needs. Juanita lives with her sister who helps prepare and set up meals but has difficulty helping with mobility. About the care needs: Someone who is patient, kind, respectful. Juanita and her sister and granddaughter have set up a system that works best for them and someone that could come in and honor their set up/routine would be wonderful. Granddaughter is not able to assist all day every day, which is why we need additional assistance. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
