About who needs care: My mother in law is a heavy woman. Her husband passed away a few years ago. She has 3 sons who take care of her heating her a dinner helping her out of her chair. They switch a load of laundry each night and put her to bed. Someone changes the bedding 1-2x a week. She orders things online so the boxes need to be brought to her to open and then discarded. Her mind is there she is incharge of all of her own decisions but going there to help her on a daily basis is very hard for 3 grown men who all have families of their own. She has a scooter that she uses when she leaves the house and a ramp to exit the house. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
