About who needs care: I am mentally competent. I have a broken ankle and cannot put weight on it for 4 more weeks. I have a cat and a parrot that need attention: change litter, clean parrot cage, help in feeding them. I hope I'll be able to use the regular bathroom, but right now I have a commode that would need to be emptied. I would likely need help with recycling and trash removal; help with bandaging my foot/ankle. About the care needs: I imagine someone would be here for about an 1-2 hours a day -- I would like someone who is positive and upbeat and is diligent in performing whatever small tasks -- commode emptying, pet care, and someone who is reliable more than anything. Services needed include: pet care, assistance in meal preparation, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
