Companion Care For Father At LISVH

I am looking for a companion care provider for my father. He lives at the Long Island State Veterans Home in Stony Brook. He in his 80s. He's not mobile and not very verbal. My previous provider has moved out of state suddenly, but will be willing to speak by phone to give tips on his personality and things to look for. Provider can be male or female. Looking for companion care 2-4 days per week for a total of 6-8 hours per week. Day and time of day are flexible. Expectation is social interaction, taking him for walks around the property, advocating as necessary, occasionally accompanying him on outings with family, and providing the opportunity to speak with me via phone (I am out of state). Must be willing to use your phone to facilitate a conversation with me during each visit.
