About who needs care: Currently at the Luxor. Mainly loves to read and to keep up with current events. Would benefit from conversation, playing games, being taken onto patio or music events on premises. 2 hrs one to two times a week. Restricted to wheelchair and some bodily pain, but cognitively sharp and oherwise healthy. About the care needs: Warm, respectful, sense of humor. A more mature woman, preferably Black (although not necessarily). [Bessie misses her Black community in VA.] Someone interested in the news, liberal politically, would be good. Also someone into word games (scrabble, crosswords, etc.). Services needed include: companionship.
