About who needs care: Has fourth stage lung cancer. Looking for in home nursing care that can manage medication push, vitals, transfers using a Hoyer lift, and catheter. Also needs to notify family if anticipating emergency/need for hospitalization based on vitals/changes in presentation. Lives with daughter and husband who help as well, but need assistance during the day while daughter is at work, and husband can not manage alone. About the care needs: Specialized skills - being able to manage Hoyer lift for transfers, catheter, medication push via IVs, and monitor vitals. Personality - friendly, gentle, understanding, Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
