About who needs care: my parents are both in their 80s. My mom has arthritis, so is having more trouble walking, especially up and down stairs. My dad recently developed severe pain in his hip, which is making it more difficult for him to walk also. they both speak english, but first language is mandarin. my dad is a retired molecular biologist and loves to garden. About the care needs: We are just looking for someone who is kind and patient. A mandarin speaker would be a plus, but definitely not necessary. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
