Bob (my father) is in his 80's and living at home. He would benefit from some help with maintaining this independence as he is beginning to have a little trouble getting around. While he uses a chair lift and needs oxygen when exerting himself, he is generally able to maintain an independent lifestyle. He needs help with reminders to take medication, as well someone to help keep track of his blood sugar levels, as he has diabetes. Some moderate help with cleaning is needed (washing dishes and laundry mostly, a weekly housekeeping service comes to handle the big stuff). He also needs help with meal preparation and clean-up, as well as driving him to get groceries, go to doctor's appointments and occasional errands. We would prefer a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and is CPR / first-aid trained.
