About who needs care: My mother is undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer. Maintaining nutrition and activity is challenging and she may soon need help preparing food, getting up and down the stairs, etc. About the care needs: A caregiver who is patient and persuasive as my mother sometimes resists suggestions to eat etc. Comfortability with caring for someone with frequent gastrointestinal issues is necessary. Experience with pancreatic cancer is a plus. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
