About who needs care: Advanced MS Mobility issues - uses rollator at home, needs a chair for transport Executive function issues - slow thinking Very independent Kind, sweet person. Needs help with all aspect of living on her own, from getting clothing ready, assisted with some dressing, Prep meals and set table, Laundry and light housecleaning. Care for two cats. Trash, recycling and composting. Assistance getting to medical appointments and YMCA. Your help will give her time and energy to do more things she enjoys. Ideal day has aides who support three meals a day, help with end of day activities - yet also lets her feel she has quiet time. About the care needs: Seeking a very patient, compassionate kind, person. Someone who doesn't feel a need to complete client sentences and lets her collect her thoughts. Someone who is fine working with a client who needs things "just so" Client enjoys crafts and watercolor, pencil drawing. Has more ideas than energy. Devoted environmentalist Former theatre stage manager, retired due to MS. Volunteers at regional theatre; wants to be involved at community garden. No special skills needed, wisdom and maturity are a big plus. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
