Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Rochester

About who needs care: Heart/pacemaker/HBP/Dizziness Knee replacement Catheter Memory/Confusion/Sundowning Likes walking and interacting with neighborhood, airplanes, model airplanes and keeping busy around the house and yard and talking on the phone with friends. Likes going to grocery store and running errands. Likes talking to friends on the phone. Can shower and dress with supervision (Fall prevention and getting clothing stuck when tired or applying lotion to back) and some assistance. On stand by to prevent accidents. Fall prevention reminders and check in. Prefers to forget/get rid of the walker, but gets in trouble at times without it. Needs help with catheter care in morning and evening - changing from day to night bag and back. This issue may go away, and it may not. Unknown at this time. Needs help with lotion for dry skin. Has great executive function most of the time Active person some of the time who sometimes requires reminders and direction to stay safe. Needs some help with choices for supper and turning the stove off due to memory and confusion issues. Knows how to cook and clean but is less interested/ability in it these days. Driving assistance for errands and ability to attend doctors appointments required. Companionship Ability to assist with catheter - hands on care required. This could be several positions or one. Morning - 2-4 hours every day Afternoons 2 hours 2 weekdays Evening - 2-4 hours every day Daughter lives in 25-50% of monthly days. Morning and evening care not required during this time. RN required for insurance purposes About the care needs: Happy, friendly, pleasant personality RN familiar with catheter care Hands on care required Assistance with balance/reminders to use walker for now Drivers license Likes to walk, garden and cook. Able to be interested in airplanes would be a benefit. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
