Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Rensselaer Falls

About who needs care: The care assistance would be primarily for my dad but my mom may need assistance as well. Looking for someone to help with taking the blood sugar, making sure they get proper medications, helping prepare/getting food/drink, checking blood pressure, day to day things. Dad is still currently in the hospital and we are looking for someone to help my mom out during discharge. At present dad is suffering from delirium and is weak from being in the hospital so would need assistance in making sure he is up and walking, etc. About the care needs: someone with compassion and patience Dad likes to work out in his woodshop, or putter but he is legally blind so he can't see well (employs an Amish gentleman to work on projects) Prior to going to the hospital, my parents spend a lot of time watching tv, puttering around the house, shopping and going out to eat, visiting with their friends/family Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
