About who needs care: My mother is a very independent and fit 79-year-old but just had a fall and broke her hip. She just had surgery and is being released this weekend and family will be around until 7th May to help her. My sister and I live too far to help her with errands and transport to her physio appts after this date. She is very independent so will want limited help but she lives alone so a companion helper that is proactive is best suited for the job. Website has taken my UK card but I put in all my info for verification by accident. I need to sort this first. About the care needs: Her hobbies are gardening, walking her dog, food and crafts. My mom is very chatty so we need applicant to be personable. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
