About who needs care: Dad is a diabetic, he has prostate cancer, and mixed dementia. He enjoys talking about politics and history. A typical day would be for him after he gets dressed and eats breakfast that he some sort of a workout in cycling or walking, eat his lunch, and then do a daily activity like play checkers or put a puzzle together. About the care needs: We are in search of an individual that is professional, demonstrates patience, and kind spirit, and honest. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable working with people who have memory loss and willing to engage in conversations with a senior citizen. Lastly, he or she should have reliable transportation and be willing to place some board games with my father. Services needed include: companionship.
