Companion Care Needed For My Loved One In Pawling

About who needs care: Personal assistant for a 70 year young, warm, and friendly woman who has physical/neurological impacts from tick infections and other illnesses. Duties will include but are not limited to: Transportation to appointments/events using our car (must have your own transport to/from work and have own car insurance), grocery shopping/meal prep, light housekeeping, assistance with organization (paperwork, home, etc.), minimal physical assistance (mostly guarding). No personal care needed. Schedule is 1 - 2 week days, somewhat flexible 6-8 hours per week. About the care needs: Qualities needed: Emotional maturity, patience, empathy, ability to focus and organize, respectful attitude, flexibility, intelligence, confidentiality, good humor, willingness to talk thru situations of concern and to work in partnership with client and family. Requirements: Non-smoker or carrier of second hand smoke, willing to wear a mask when asked, able to talk slowly/quietly when needed, strong computer/phone and organizational skills, flexible attitude. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
