Seeking hands-on care near Nyack for my mother in her 80s. Important - experience with reminding medication is required. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. Some help needed with bathing. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. We might ask you to run errands now and then. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc.). While my mother does not suffer from Dementia officially, she does get confused and sometimes show some signs, and sometimes believes things that are not exactly reality. She responds to calm, reassuring, good listeners etc. Looking for someone willing to be involved in Program with additional pay on top of that (the program where pays caregivers of the families choosing ).
