About who needs care: No underlying health conditions. He is in good physical health. His mental alertness and short term memory has been depreciating. Enjoys walking his small dog around neighborhood. Used to be very active playing pickleball and golf, but has slowed down significantly due to leg pain and balance loss. He needs structure. Has been having a hard time finding motivation to do much of anything. Needs socialization. About the care needs: Dad is very private and proud, but needs companionship. He has a good sense of humor. He does not want to feel babied or felt sorry for. Stubborn yes, but willing to cooperate. He has been stating he is confused and lacks purpose. He is very isolated and rarely leaves the house. No special skills needed. Services needed include: companionship.
