Sample day. May include 1 or more appointments or none. Hours maybe extended for out patent PT. 9:00 - Arrive Clean, dress patient in bed 10:00 - medication, breakfast 11:00 - light exercise in bed 12:00- assist with lunch 1:00 - patient to wheelchair, into van. 2:00 - drive patient to appointment 4:30 - return, exercise in bed 5:30 - Dinner 6:00 - medication Patent is 59 years young and recovering from a stroke. He is left hemiplegic and cannot stand. Our goal is to give me an active life including hope while he continues to recover. Recovery requires some assistance from the care giver including but not limited to stroke recovery activities at home, transportation to physical therapy via van. This job is guaranteed for minimum of 2 years until family relocates. Care giver must be able to operate a hoyer lift or willing to learn.
