About who needs care: Has congestive heart failure and has a hard time walking more than 15-20 feet. Is an accomplished artist but has given up much of his painting because it takes too much effort. Used to be a chef and enjoys good food but in smaller amounts now. Needs help washing and grooming in the mornings. Housekeeping and laundry. Help Ordering and picking up groceries 2 times a week or as needed. About the care needs: My brother is not very social but he will engage in conversation. He is very intelligent, artistic and creative with an acerbic sense of humor. He has begun to lose interest in his hobbies and is a little depressed so a caregiver who is respectful of his wishes, is empathetic without being solicitous, and is an emotionally strong individual would be best. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
