About who needs care: My mom has COPD and is on 24hr portable oxygen but she is very active and alert. No dementia. She wakes up around 10, gets dressed and made up, reads the paper, eats breakfast, has lunch, makes calls and takes care of administrative stuff, has dinner and watches a movie. Goes to sleep around 10 About the care needs: At this point my mom does not need specialized care. Her caregiver needs to take charge of pills to make sure medication is taken. Get my mom to and from dr appts. Help my mom getting in and out of tub. Help prepare meals. Interests: It would be great if someone was interested in art. If she could play cards with my mom, take her to the park etc Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
