About the job
We need hands-on care to take care of my father in New Paltz. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements. He needs assistance getting to/from the restroom, but can usually use the facilities on his own. Seeking someone to handle easy meal preparation for dinners each night. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. Must be comfortable with dogs. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. IMPORTANT NOTE: He recently had a fractured shoulder and a fractured disc in his spine from a fall in August 2024.
