Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Mount Kisco

About who needs care: Very recent widow. Increasing memory problems. Poor hearing/auditory processing. Mobility issue due to very bad knees complicated by severe edema. Mom is a former social worker, Audubon member/bird watcher. She is a soft hearted animal lover. Has one cat. Was an early riser all her life but now tends to stay up late and sleep in. Making coffee at whatever time she gets up is still part of her routine. House is all one level except for basement where laundry is located, and front steps to enter are no longer ideal for her mobility issues. About the care needs: Should love cats. Good with early stage Dementia. Patient, attentive. Not a fast talker. Willing to help with cleaning that Mom doesn't notice needs to be done sometimes. Possibly help to transport to medical appts. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
