About who needs care: As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their well-being. Duties - Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing - Help clients with mobility and physical therapy exercises - Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs - Support clients with household tasks and light housekeeping, vacuuming etc. - Transport client with wheelchair accessible van to social events, doctors appointments, and traveling on vacation when needed via plane, train or car. - Assistance with with feeding, and other activities with emotional support dog when needed. Experience - Experience or training in direct support - Familiarity with home health practices and activities of daily living (ADLs) - Ability to perform heavy lifting/transferring/walking when necessary CDPAS with Edison Home Health, COMHAB with Citizens Unlimited.
