I need a hands-on care provider for my husband in his 50s who needs help transferring due to MS. We have a hoyer lift and an Indeelift to help transfer. For now, this is a one-time need - I need to travel somewhere overnight. If this works, I may ask for more regular help. He mostly stays in a recliner and just needs someone to get things, like food, drinks and small items, for him. He needs a lot of help to transfer, which he'll probably only need once. He's 5'7" and about 165 lb. I will make sure there is a bedpan handy in case the transfer is too hard. We have a dog that needs to go out a few times, though I can have someone else come in to do that, if needed. We have two cats that don't go out or need much of anything. Most of the gig should be super easy. It's only the potential transfer that would take effort.
