My Father, Lee is 83 years old, and currently rehabbing for a broken ankle sustained 3 weeks ago. He has been getting regular PT and OT (1 hours each per day). He lives independently and by himself in a one floor home in Lancaster. He is a VA vet, talkative and generally easy to get along with. He has a good sense of humor and usually listens to direction. He can be bossy (used to manage large corporate teams). Per the social worker at the rehab facility, looks like Dad will need moderate in-home care for 3-4 weeks after he comes home. Movement: moderate assistance Hygiene: moderate assistance Incontinence issues: Dad thinks he is getting better, with no more laxatives. He has moderate help in-town. Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, bathing, dressing, hygiene, and mobility assistance.
