About the job
About who needs care: My mom is bedridden and suffers from dementia and Parkinson's. She requires full-time hands on care including feeding, personal care, bathing and dressing. She has a hospital bed and we also transfer her to her wheelchair for some meals. She lives at home with her husband who is unable to provide the hands on care needed. Mom enjoys listening to music and looking at pictures of her grandchildren or watching shows on TV. Additional services needed include: some meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, stretches. We are seeking an experienced caregiver to help out on regular basis for a min. of two 8 hour days, up to 24 hours per week, on a regular basis. Occasionally, more hours as needed.
