About who needs care: She is an otherwise healthy 86 yr old with hypertension and a history of a GI bleed that is healed on carafate that fell and broke her femur. She is s/p a rod placement and can weight bear to get. in and out of a chair and go to the bathroom for now. She lives with her daughter, a nurse practitioner who covers three night shifts weekly. About the care needs: My mom is funny and light-hearted. Heat meals, help move from chair to commode or bathroom, perform care to clean, and help redress her. If they have time for a bath that would be great. Services needed include: mobility assistance.
