About the job
I'm looking for companion care for my grandfather in his mids 80s. Mostly days - mid morning to dinner. Flexible days and hours. He is mostly cared by my mother but she is looking for some help during the day to keep him busy. We're looking for some help with: Preparing meals Light Errands Light chores, like making his bed. He is very independent and still drives, but does need some reminders. He does not like to be alone, so really looking for someone who wants to chat, watch tv/movies, go out to lunch, be a friend for activities. He will be moving in Jan to assisted living, this opportunity could cont. on if ideal or it would be just for Dec. Ideal caregiver must be outgoing, a non smoker and have a sense of humor. Old age has this guy a little grumpy. So he needs someone who can put him in his place with some humor!
