About who needs care: 89-year-old woman who is rehabbing from a femur fracture in October 2024. Prior to injury, July independent and living alone. At this stage of recovery, to return home, she will need support to get in and out of bed, toileting, and in and out of wheelchair. She is ambulatory in small amounts and will continue to have OT and PT at home. Light housework, microwaving meals, vital checks, medication reminders. About the care needs: Someone who enjoys an extroverted woman who likes to sew, quilt, and watch the news. Patience and kindness. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
