About the job
This position is for LIVE-IN THURSDAY AT 4 p.m. TO SATURDAY AT 4 p.m. We are seeking live-in home care for my mother, in her 80s, in a nice home. We are seeking someone with a very good knowledge of the English language and a positive personality. Your duties include providing companionship, social interaction, and assistance with exercise. We are seeking someone to handle meal preparation. We might ask you to run errands now and then. Some light tidying up is involved. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements. You'll be responsible for transporting to/from appointments. Preference for caregivers who live near Forest Hills, NY and/or have their own transportation. An HHA, CNA, or RN certificate is required.
